Smart Works Insights June

Join Smart Works Scotland with CMS, and Trustee Christine Esson for an evening of inspiration and action as we present a panel of visionary leaders including:

Martin Perry, professional Scottish Paralympian table tennis player, European Team and British Champion 2019, and champion for inclusion through sport

Angie Mwafulirwa, founder of Sharpen Her: the African Women's Network, author, entrepreneur, and advocate for personal development and women's rights.

Eilidh Douglas, Senior Associate and Solicitor Advocate , and champion for social mobility at CMS

We are also honoured to welcome a past Smart Works Scotland client, who will share her personal journey and how the service supported her to transform her confidence, take the next step in her career, and overcome barriers on the path to social mobility.

As June hosts Social Mobility Day, this event will shine a spotlight on the importance of social mobility and the critical role it plays in creating a more equitable society. By sharing the stories and insights of our panel, we aim to inspire action that supports people from all backgrounds to achieve their full potential - an ambition at the heart of Smart Works Scotland’s mission.

This event is a part of the Smart Works Insights programme, a series of engaging events throughout 2025 and beyond that will shape purposeful, inclusive, and forward-thinking leadership

Tickets: £25 per person, available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/smart-works-insights-june-tickets-1356221778849?aff=oddtdtcreator

Every single penny raised will go directly to Smart Works Scotland, helping unemployed women in Scotland with the coaching, clothing and confidence to achieve their potential and transform their lives.
