Within one working day, Smart Works will reach out to the woman you have referred, ensuring that she receives the necessary support at a crucial time.

All three women came to Smart Works Edinburgh with their own stories but today, share how Smart Works Edinburgh has impacted their journeys into employment. Join us on Wednesday 23rd February for an evening with Strathberry in the lead up to International Women’s Day 2022.

With a line-up of inspirational women, consisting of Strathberry Founder, Leeanne Hundleby, Head of Immigration Law at Shepherd & Wedderburn, Jacqueline Moore and Karen De Villiers, a Managing Director at J.P.Morgan, it is certainly not to be missed!

In addition to some insightful female-led conversation, guests will have a styling session focussing on the importance of bags and accessories from Colour Analyst and Personal Style Consultant, Moira Cox.

And if that wasn’t enough, guests will also have the chance on the night to win their own exclusive Strathberry East/West Midi Tote handbag with an additional £10 raffle ticket. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get dressed up, this is it!

We spoke to Gina, from Lancia Consult about her experience of doing cycle for Smart Works year-after-year. Here’s what she had to say:

“I like the fact I’m supporting the process of setting up each client for success at a time in their lives when they really need it. There is also a real community aspect to Smart Works Edinburgh which is why I’ve been supporting SWE since it’s opened – the idea that I can do something for someone at their time of need which fuels me to do cycle year after year”

“There is nothing but friendly-ness from the way you (Smart Works Edinburgh) come across to supporters, especially through the volunteers and staff. It’s such a nice warming environment with every interaction always being very positive, very supportive and always celebratory of all women.”

We’re so delighted to be featured in the latest issue of Edinburgh lifestyle magazine, Edinburgh Life this month.

These photos were taken at our ‘Sustainability Matters’ Event back in November at the Waldorf Astoria and captured the mood perfectly. With over 80 guests, our wonderful guest speakers Jane Shepherdson CBE and Lady Juliet Hughes-Hallet, our Smart Works Fashion rail and stalls from the beautiful sustainable fashion brands, beira and treen, it was certainly an evening to remember. 💙
